MOSCOW, Dec 3 (PRIME) -- Russia’s largest carmaker AvtoVAZ has recalled 1,700 Lada Kalina, Lada Granta, and Lada Priora cars that were sold from April through Monday due to incompatibility of their steering wheel’s configuration with the safety airbag module, the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology said in a statement on Monday.
The company will check markings and compatibility of steering wheels and airbag modules and change the steering wheel free of charge if necessary, the agency said.
